Title: Opportunity Funds Will Be Big
Post by: Sam on September 24, 2018, 07:24:15 AM
Hi everyone, I just published a post on Opportunity Funds. I think they are going to be big in the future given the tax benefits. My friend was just at a conference in Aspen attended by the worlds greatest entrepreneurs (used to be the Charlie Rose Conference) and the treasury secretary was talking about opportunity zones.  There was a lot of enthusiasm about her ability to invest in rundown neighborhood and defer taxes.

Also a nice article in the July 18, 2018 Forbes magazine.  I too am curious as to the best way to participate.

I plan on assessing more options as more become available. I've also got to get comfortable with the HOW.

Investing for 10 years is good, but I'm 41 now. So I'm going against time and have higher risk of death with long term investments. Sad, but true.
