Title: home insurance deductible
Post by: mind_like.water on August 25, 2019, 07:59:08 AM
About to buy a house and Im looking at different deductibles. I think I would self insure any issue up to catastrophe.  $1000 vs $10000 deductible about 100 more a month.  Anyone else have $10000 deductibles?  They
make it sound like I am crazy for doing it and no one else has one.  What am I missing?  Thanks

Large deductible's are generally smarter in the long run because most of the time, nothing ever happens to your house. The key is to have disaster and Sherance. It's up to you to feel how comfortable you are with your insurance.
