Motivating and actionable!
I’m so glad to have read this book. I’m big into pf (personal finance) and have read a lot of pf and wealth-building books over the years. Sam is my favorite author by far and I was quickly hooked from his intro. I found the book really approachable and love his conversational style, which all the fellow fans out there are familiar with.
I also really liked how clearly action-oriented Millionaire Milestones is, unlike so many other books I’ve read where I walk away feeling like “now what?” I really dig Sam’s checklists at the end of each chapter. His writing is very intentional and I really appreciate his strategies for building wealth.
The length is also just right and easy to finish. It’s a great balance of readability without losing depth. And I also appreciated how it doesn’t assume you're already financially savvy or have everything figured out, which made it feel a lot more encouraging. It’s a book you can appreciate and benefit from at different phases of your life. And I plan to come back to my bookmarks to reread certain chapters.

Sam has done it again! He's been consistently publishing posts on his Financial Samurai blog for years now that I follow. I loved his first book “Buy This, Not That.”

Samurai meets Goldilocks
Millionaire Milestones is the Goldilocks of personal finance books. As someone with my own story to tell through my personal finance blog Think and Talk Money, I've read close to 100 personal finance books over the past 15 years. Some are written by people just starting out on their personal finance journey. Others are written by people reflecting back on how they did it.
Dogen's book is different. He's been doing it long enough that his credentials are legit. At the same time, he's not on the back end of his journey. He's still living it every day, which makes his book very relatable for people like me still on my journey, as well.

Sam is a fantastic author and he has proven that well before he ever started writing books.
I read his blog posts every week and it always keeps me thinking and motivated to grow my wealth. This is a great book and provides tremendous value.

I really love how he emphasizes that wealth isn’t about luck—it’s about intention. Luck can sometimes come into play during our careers and financial lives of course. But purpose, intentionality, and consistency are what really build wealth exponentially over time.
